Kompensator 5th wheels are used to haul trailers on uneven terrain and with high center of gravity loads. They are designed to reduce twisting forces between the tractor and trailer. 

How they work

• The Kompensator's cradle design allows for side-to-side and front-to-rear oscillation of the top plate. 
• This reduces torque and twist transfer through the fifth wheel. 
• The Kompensator provides more flexibility between the tractor and trailer.
